1. How to create a culture of inclusion in which veterans feel like full team members?
Consider the importance of creating for veterans an atmosphere of comfort in which they will feel valuable members of the team. To do this, it is important to establish communication with the veterans themselves and their families. The priority is to combat stereotypes about veterans who live in society.
The construction of any system is accompanied by certain challenges that you need to be prepared for. When creating a veteran adaptation system and a culture of inclusion, one should expect likely negative influences due to psychological trauma, differences between military and civilian culture, the emergence of various adaptation problems in the workplace, etc. And you need to know how to overcome them. After exploring this issue, webinar participants will be able to prepare for possible difficulties and find ways to solve them.
2. What specific steps can an enterprise take in order to adapt the work environment to the needs of veterans given their unique experience and skills?
Focus on practical aspects of creating a conducive environment for veterans, such as: professional retraining; flexible schedule options that can be implemented; organizing mentoring programs for veterans, etc. A detailed study of this issue will help determine the necessary resources and opportunities for veterans to adapt.
